A Dialogue Session co-hosted by Africa Communications Week and the OECD DevCom Network
At this webinar, co-hosted by AfricaCommsWeek and the OECD Development Communication Network, we will explore the fundamental role of strategic communications in promoting African agency, including on climate issues.
In particular, we will address the following major challenges for communicators to consider, at the intersection of environmental communication and public diplomacy:
- How can we help bring Africa’s agenda and perspectives into international debates?
- How can we tell more impactful stories about solutions and entrepreneurship?
- What resources are available to investigate climate change stories, focusing on events that directly affect African populations?
- What are the best entry points to engage with citizens on environmental issues?
Our conversation will help promote learning and strengthen the multi-sectoral network of communications professionals working around the world.
