A University of Ibadan graduate, Ayeni Adekunle Samuel is a journalist, writer, public relations expert, entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of NET News LTD, owners of www.thenet.ng, www.newsroom.ng, www.234star.com, www.orin.ng, www.nec.ng and www.netshop.ng. He also the founder of the public relations agency BHM (www.bhmng.com) as well as the pan Africa creative digital agency ID Africa (www.idafrica.ng).

Ayeni founded BHM in 2006, first as a service for professionals in media and the creative industries. But in 2009, BHM rebranded to focus on consumer goods, government, telco and tech. Today the agency works for clients in many industries, employing over 40 people. The digital agency, ID Africa, was launched in 2015, to help African brands navigate the digital media space. The agency is behind the popular tool ‘Nigeria Twitter map’, and also the advocacy campaign ‘Rape and Jollof Rice’. ID Africa employs around 10 full time staff.

Ayeni, Adekunle who lives in Lagos, is married with two children. He is very interested in the future of media, and marketing communications, in line with understanding what consumers want, and need; as well as how entrepreneurs can continue to help build a better world without losing themselves.
